Tostado - Jarabacoa

10/10! Food was great and fresh very delicious, prices are reasonable and the ambiance is perfect. You have a great view of the mountains and the sunset. The restaurant is very cute and very modern. The decor is nice and It has fun aesthetics! The bikes , the swing and even a beautiful tree in the middle of the restaurant. There’s parking available as well. Will definitely come back to visit for sure!

This place is not worth the money we pay . Food is disgusting is not what we expected and plus the waitress was starting so hard at us and we felt so uncomfortable we just don’t recommend this place for anybody to spend they money here.

Nonsense!!! slow service which is not a problem but they charge you taxes and Include tip in your meal. If you Google the tax explanation the Ley is a tip which the article also reported 1/2 of all owners don 't give their employees, but I don 't know what this establishment does just FYI. Also as per Paul 's review of this place the milk complaint is true, milk is extra and is charged. I uploaded the receipt, 50 DOP Plus 9 DOP 59 DOP which is a little over a Dollar. Not friendly at all but not hostile either. Food is average, breakfast cost approximately $27 USD for two people we ordered eggs on toast with coffee and extra milk (where am I hardrock cafe, please! which is really not extra at all, total ripoff. Not returning, not angry but totally unsatisfied. Bought dinner the evening before from TINAJA restaurant, which is in the same vicinity, cost exactly the same for delicious ribs, tostones, steak with rice and beans same price $25USD. Also went to a restaurant in Santiago DE Los Caballeros called KGB very good food had lunch 2 appetizers Cuban Sandwich drinks. $34 USD. You can look up these restaurants if the owner responds that it 's not true, for this reason I had to update my review. This restaurant seem to respond to any negative reviews. All my reviews are honest and not for the purpose hurting, but informing. There are other choices besides your restaurant and not all negative reviews are not true.

Great place to watch the sunset, hang out, or get some work done (they’ve got WiFi). The coffee was good and the waffles tasty. I had an issue with one of the omelette, but after the manager came and talked to me they replaced it. Attentive servers! (I came 2 times during my 3 days in Jarabocoa)

I had reviewed this place as a 5 star but I'm lowering it now. On the last visit two of our group got sick in the stomach after eating here. We also got the beignets and they were burnt. They covered the burnt side with powdered sugar so we wouldn't see it. Because we took bites of each one they wouldn't take it off the bill. We have eaten here many times with groups from the States and I've learned that at least 4 people have gotten stomach illness after eating here. I personally always enjoyed the hamburgers but we will not be bringing groups here in the future.
