Tokkyu Ramen - Japan

There is only one option for vegan ramen, but it is delicious.

I recently tried the Original Ramen at this restaurant and it truly captures the traditional flavors of Japan in a vegan dish. The owners, the Satake Family, are fantastic! The restaurant is very small and simple, but the food is incredibly original. Perfect for those participating in #Veganuary!

Delicious and reasonably priced vegan ramen. Cozy restaurant with around 10 seats at the bar.

They have one vegan item on their menu and it was damn good. Wish they could add tofu or some kind of protein in there, but still a hearty meal. It’s also a tiny place with just 10 tables, be prepared to wait. Updated from previous review on 2023-11-23

Came here for dinner. A no-frills local joint. For vegans there was only one option—the vegan ramen. I was famished so I ordered a large portion (you can choose between medium and large). It was tasty and the broth was full of umami. But toppings were a bit lacking; some sort of vegan protein would've been nice. It was a cheap and quick meal. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.
