Modu Sushi - JANNALI

I visited this restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food was excellent, and I highly recommend visiting Jannali Sushi.

I didn't even place an order because the girl at the counter (on January 7 at 8 PM) was so rude that we decided to leave. During a time like this, when businesses may be eager for customers, it's disappointing to not be treated with respect. I'm a local and have been trying to support this place for a long time, but now I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants in the area to choose from.

This is undoubtedly the best sushi in the area. I usually order the grilled salmon special roll and the avocado roll, and both are fantastic. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the rice is served warm. Anyone who disagrees must be mistaken. I’ve been to Japan, and I still prefer the sushi from this place in Jannali!

I am very surprised that you guys can still be open when you serve food like this (my partner said you guys have been here for over 10 years). For those guys who gave 5 stars please go somewhere else to have some real sushi and Japanese food. The skin for dumplings were way too thick and soft, the steam rice was over cooked like congee(it was kinda like rice mash). I mean really? Serving a bowl of perfect cooked steam rice is a fundamental thing for any Japanese restaurant but you guys couldn’t even do that. The food just failed in every single level. As a Japanese food lover I am really disappointed and whoever is the chef I think you should be ashamed. This is my first time here ever and will be my last time.

Unbelievable my local sushi spot seems to be full of crooks. I've been here several times as I really enjoy some of their rolls, but I've noticed a number of times now, and decided to write this review after my most recent experience, that they grossly overcharge me for my order (today was $6 over on a $20 order! . I often realise it as I'm walking to the car, and shame on me for not turning around for my refund but curiosity struck and I read reviews of this restaurant and several others have complained of being overcharged! They clearly know what they are doing, and it's shameful. Don't support this kind of business buy your sushi elsewhere.
