For some of the best pizza in Janesville, look no further than Tony Maria's. It's absolutely delicious, even as leftovers.

Although I haven't lived in Janesville for a while, I always make sure to visit this legendary Wisconsin establishment for their delicious pizza. They serve the cheesiest pizza around, perfect for thin crust lovers. I recommend ordering it well done and uncut for the best results, as cutting it causes the cheese to reform and makes it difficult to tell where one slice begins or ends. The toppings on the pizza far outweigh the crust, making it a dream for pizza lovers. If you enjoy pizza, this is definitely a place you won't regret visiting.

I was disappointed when trying this pizza for the first time. The sauce was too watery, causing the pizza and toppings to slide right off. The dough was undercooked and they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh ones. We paid $37 for a small cheese pizza and a medium mushroom and sausage pizza, which I found to be outrageously expensive for mediocre quality. I will not be ordering from here again.

Update: Yup, this pizza is still legit and yes, I still drive from Madison to pick it up. I had to invest in a pizza warming bag but it's worth it. ? I really wish Tony Maria's would come to Madison. Allow me to put it this way.... We live in Verona, WI and have no problem ordering a pizza from Tony Maria's, then driving 41 miles one way just to go pick it up. They are that delicious! You do not know real Italian pizza unless you've been to Tony Maria's. I absolutely love their sauce. Their ingredients always taste fresh! I highly recommend you give them a try.

I'm surprised that anyone would give this place only a 1-star review. Hands down, our favorite pizza joint in Janesville! They put so much cheese on their pizza that you need a second person in the car to hold it upright during your drive home! Seriously! A bit on the pricey side, so we get it mainly only on birthdays.
