Lascala - Jamestown

Curb appeal had me frankly a little scared to go in. Entering the lobby I was overwhelmed with that typically old people hang out smell. The decor was definitely not representative of the outside. Very nice interior and seating. Formal but laid back atmosphere. Wait staff was very polite and helpful. Disappointed they were out of lobster but they substituted without an issue.I got the fillets and scallops. Food quality was outstanding and probably the best I've had in awhile. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be stopping in again.

I highly recommend this stunning restaurant and bar. The specials at the bar are a fantastic deal and the food is delicious! You must sit at the bar to fully appreciate it, just take a look at the amazing menu!

The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. The entrance, cloak room, booths, and tables are all top-notch. Guests are greeted with cheerful and welcoming hospitality as they enter the main dining area. The menu offers a great selection of choices and specials. The meals are wonderfully prepared and presented on the plates. The table settings and waitress service are excellent. Definitely worth leaving a generous tip!

My fiancé and I went to this restaurant for his birthday dinner. We started with the fried calamari as an appetizer, and it was fantastic - fresh, not chewy at all, and served with a nice twist of wasabi. My fiancé ordered the prime rib, which he absolutely loved. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I decided on the chicken cordon bleu, which I highly recommend as it was the best I've ever had. The service was excellent, our waitress managed a large table in another room and still provided amazing service to us. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, even with a pianist nearby. We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Don't judge it by its exterior - it's truly amazing!
