I really enjoy the sweet potato fries and the okra. However, the fish tends to be overcooked, so be sure to let them know to fry it a bit less.

The food is delicious, but I was concerned when the cashier packed my fish sandwich without wearing gloves and handled it directly after touching money. I find this practice very unsanitary, as it's not ideal to handle both money and food simultaneously. I ended up having my sandwich remade.

I ordered from Gh and it was by far the worst fish I've ever had. It was completely unseasoned and tasted like old fish that had been refried several times. The shrimp was coated in way too much flour and also lacking any seasoning. I honestly feel sick right now.

I've been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years now. J&C is run by two ageless Asian women who are incredibly friendly yet don’t tolerate any nonsense. As soon as you enter, you'll see pre-cooked seafood that is flash-fried to order. They also offer steamed options, thanks to the fresh seafood available in the back. You can choose from a wide variety of fish, which can be cleaned and cut exactly to your preference. It's customary to tip the person who cleans the fish for you. Additionally, there’s a freezer stocked with frozen seafood. The restaurant is located in a bustling area with various businesses nearby, like a laundromat and a 99-cent store, and public transportation is conveniently located right outside. Plus, it’s just a 5-minute drive from JFK Airport.

I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and I absolutely love it! I recently stopped by to check if they were still open after the pandemic. I've just moved back to New York, and I'm excited to go there again!
