Emilio's Mexican Grill - Jamaica

My family and I enjoyed their tacos very much! I would definitely eat them again! I wish they were playing some Rancheras instead of salsa and that they had some coffee as I wanted a nice cup of coffee when I went there but it was all good! Grateful for their service! ¡Viva Mexico!

Everything was great! Fast service, great communication, great etiquette, fast food. The drinks were strong and juicy and great vibes

Just enjoyed a great dinner here with my daughter and son-in-law! I had Adelita’s kiss for a cocktail. My daughter and son-in-law shared a pitcher of red Sangria. We had beef carnitas nachos for appetizer. I had a shrimp taco and spiced pork taco both traditional style. My daughter and son-in-law shared shrimp tostadas. For dessert we shared churros with strawberries, strawberry ice cream, and drizzle of chocolate syrup. We had great service with good Spanish language music playing and great atmosphere and decor.

Oh man! This place is simply delightful. 3 thumbs up. I went there last night for dinner and I called/ordered for pick up but once I was inside and we ordered 2 margaritas (1 clasic/1 passionfruit) while waiting for our quesadillas, (which tasted banging!... we didn't wanna leave. The drinks are sooo delicious and the bar tender was not stingy with the alcohol. Definitely coming back with the GIRLS!.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ::wink::

The food was fantastic as always, but the service my family received was quite disappointing. Our server, Gustavo, seemed more preoccupied with chatting with his friends at the bar and texting than attending to our needs. He rarely checked on us, and we had to remind him multiple times for what we had ordered. Even when he brought us items, he would quickly return to socializing and texting. I could understand if the restaurant were busy, but we were the only table! So there's really no excuse for that. To make matters worse, when my one-year-old accidentally spilled his food on the floor, Gustavo approached us and said, “Try not to drop anything else on the floor, because… yeah.” This was definitely inappropriate and disappointing. They either need to bring back the old staff or properly train the new ones. UPDATE: Today, on 9/13/22, I had a fantastic experience with a new server, whose name I sadly forgot. I happened to visit on his first day on the job, and he was absolutely amazing! He knew the menu and specials by heart, to the point where we had to ask if it was truly his first day. He was that impressive!
