Kimball Farm - Jaffrey

On July 25th at 1120 in Jaffrey. I ordered Fish Chips $16.25 and my wife had a Tuna Salad Sandwich for the ridiculous price of $8.25. The bread was stale and the fries for both orders were hardly warm. My fish was a generous part, but not so good. I had to ask for food utensils. We both had a small order of Peppermint ice and it seemed whipped up and very gooey. We were there a few weeks ago and had scallops and they were very good. Our food bill was $29.43 containing 1root beer and $10.00 for ce cream. Total $39.43. We're done.

The prices are high for what you get. Small lobster roll, Schellbisse plate, 2 Sodas 53.00 with tax. There was a lot of lobster, but no Mayo or Dressing. Had to mix my own with foil packages and grilled roller was cold refrigerator. Probably prefabricated and stored in Refrig. The Haddock bite was small, especially for this place that was always known for large portions.

We find that the size of meals depends on the day or who cooks. We go quite a bit, but disappointed the last few times got only 8 bites of squid and 10 pommes for 16.95 I don't want to get for a good meal, but not for this size meal.use twice as much. Ice is the same. Inconsistent on sizes.

Generous portions of food, but a bit pricey. Hit or miss if it is hot (temperature). Good selection and portions of ice cream. In the past we would go almost every week, but now go about once a month because of cost.
