Shell - Jacumba Hot Springs

This place STINKS. Even a strong breeze can’t disguise this roadside cesspool. Paid $6.99 a gallon and that’s not the complaint. I bought a .99 cent pair of pliers for $12 and they broke in my hand. Thankfully I keep a Leatherman in the truck and was able to use that. No refund issued 30 seconds after purchase. I’m pretty sure, the Chevron is no better.

Can buy a case of beer no problem but not a case of water

Staff is cool and friendly, no matter how swamped they are! Make you feel welcome and like a local. The nudist De Anza Springs resort is just down the dirt road i think some of that laid back hippie vibe rubs off on this place, the good kind of rub off!

‘ Was on my way to Centinela State Prison to visit a love one, stopped here for gas and snacks . Car broke down 5 mins after driving, had to tow it back to LA, never got to the prison , got a car diagnosis and was told the issue was from bad gas. Please don’t come here, I always go to shell and get 91 grade . This particular location has a very bad grade of gas !!!!

Pit stop on our long drive, gas is expensive as expected however a subway in middle of nowhere is great
