Village Bread Cafe - Jacksonville

I love this family owned Bistro. Food is always delicious. They serve breakfast and lunch from open to close. You order at the counter upfront. Food comes up fast and you get your drinks at their beverage station. Love Love their coffee. Nice staff and the place is very clean.

I live close by but had never tried this place because I assumed it was just a sit-down restaurant for lunch and dinner. However, it's actually a fantastic fast-casual spot that serves breakfast and lunch all day long. The staff, including the girl taking our orders and the woman with short hair managing the dining area, were both warm and friendly. Our food arrived at the table in just a few minutes and looked amazing. The chicken salad was incredible, served on grilled multigrain bread, with fresh, crunchy vegetables. I'm thrilled to have found a new lunch spot so close to home. We were in and out in just 35 minutes—hard to beat that!

I ordered the omelet with avocado and hash browns, and it was delicious. My son chose the ciabatta breakfast sandwich and finished it in no time. My husband ordered the corned beef hash with hash browns but felt the portions were on the small side. Overall, I would definitely be interested in going back to Deerwood Bistro... just without my husband, lol.

I frequently visit this restaurant for brunch with my family, and it's always a great experience. The customer service is outstanding—everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is served quickly and tastes fantastic. You can tell that everything is clean and well-maintained. It's an amazing place, and I've never encountered any issues here. I highly recommend it!

Just had a little lunch here with my mother and we were so impressed. I think he is the owner?, but the man that helped us was SO KIND. He went way above and beyond to make our lunch enjoyable. The food was wonderful as well. Next time I'm trying their sunrise mimosa!
