Jenkins Quality Barbecue of Jacksonville.

I usually go to the one on pearl St. The best location) But didn't have time because cars were pouring into the road and I had to go!! But anyways I was really craving a rib sandwich so I thought I'd give this location a try! Huge mistake the ribs were very tough and dry, and had little to no smoke flavor from being warmed up in the microwave! I was so mad ? spent almost 12 dollars for a few dry bones!! I had to end up throwing it in the trash SMH!Will not be back! So very disappointed!!

My husband and I got the half chicken each... we've been to this location a few times, but this time was bad...our chicken was so so so dry. We ate it anyway because we were both really tired and hungry...it tasted barely of smoke, incredibly dry, and you can tell they pre-cook and microwave cause both of ours were barely warm. Please fix this place...I know y'all can do better than this. Smh

The food is always good. My favorite is a 1/2 chicken sandwich. There are three choices of sauces, hot, mild, and sweet. My favorite is the sweet sauce!

Not the Jenkins we love. Very disappointed with our sandwiches. Appeared to be old meat that was dry and thrown on a bun. It appeared it was then microwaved, and used to be alwats fresh. Beans and slaw were okay. Not great. Perhaps an off day.

I’ve eaten BBQ all over the state,. and this food at Jenkins bbq is Mediocre at best. Definitely not worth what we paid. But it was ok. My main reason for going to the effort of looking up this site to leave a comment is to do with the HORRIBLE attitude of the staff of this place. The service didn’t suck,..because there was NO SERVICE. I went there with my cousin,.. we were already seated and getting into our food and he asked for some ketchup. They weren’t busy… but instead of walking around the counter and handing him the ketchup,.. she said “ heres your ketchup “ and made him get back up to get ….a packet…. Of ketchup. When we first walked in and started looking at the menu,… these women never said a WORD. they just glared at us with a disgusted look on there face. It’s a small place and there was no one at the counter but the two of us…but there was nothing said but “ what do you want”. Just the bad attitude of these women working at Jenkins bbq was enough for me. I’ll never darken their door again. Oh…. You’ll notice I didn’t mark any stars beside service….Because,…as I said THERE WAS NONE!
