Captain D's - Jacksonville

The food is usually fresh, although the customer service can be inconsistent at times. However, it's understandable since they often seem to be short-staffed.

I visited Captain D's on University Blvd in Jacksonville, FL, and I have to share my disappointment. The baked shrimp we ordered looked nothing like what was advertised; instead of a delicious dish, it resembled roasted okra. The batter was pale and clearly undercooked, so we ended up tossing it out. We also tried to redeem a welcome gift for a fish dish and some fried items, but the staff seemed confused and unable to assist us. It felt like they didn’t want to honor the promotion, which was really disheartening. I expected better service and quality food. Overall, it was a letdown.

Quality depends on which employees work. after 5 visit within three weeks I would say that this captain d is quite decent. more pleasant trips than not pleasant. child-friendly: they have a small children's menu. park: depending on the time of the day, you can put left into the game. many parking places otherwise.

They can not be aware of how slippery the flows are on the front entrance when they are wet, so everyone please be careful to go inside. eating is usually good, but someone in the back can not count.

Nothing beats a cold iced tea to go along with the meal. I truly appreciate how they stay relevant and competitive with their prices. We have many dining options, but I choose Captain D's every time. It's the best, hands down!
