Blue Bamboo Canton Bistro

Today's choice of Asian cuisine for lunch was an excellent one. Upon entering the spacious interior, I was warmly welcomed by Chef Dennis and manager Tina, both of whom greeted me with bright smiles. My waitress, Lacey, was friendly and professional as well. I ordered the delicious and substantial ribs, which a friend had recommended, along with mixed vegetables and white rice. The food, brought to my table by the Booey robot, was fresh and delightful, and the portion sizes were just right. To top off this satisfying meal, the seating was very comfortable, and the interior was clean and quite spacious. Plus, parking is conveniently available on the property. I am already looking forward to my next visit for lunch or dinner!

We started off with a whole fish before ordering the Lobster Cantonese and Sweet and Sour dishes. To accompany our meal, we ordered a Green Tea Martini, the 5 Dumpling Sampler, Pepper Steak stir fry, and Veggie Jay Choy. Having lived in South China, I have missed authentic flavors, and the sweet and sour dishes, the fish, and the Jay Choy truly hit the spot for me. We couldn't resist finishing off the whole fish! My daughter absolutely loved the Lobster Cantonese, and my partner was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the fish was. For dessert, we tried the Mandarin Orange cake, which was light and moist, reminiscent of Tres Leches, with a delicate orange flavor that complemented the buttery notes perfectly. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and can't wait to return. The service was excellent as well; we felt relaxed and took our time enjoying our meal, lingering at the table for about an hour and a half without feeling rushed.

I had a really enjoyable dinner at the restaurant. They were very accommodating and seated us without a reservation. The nativity dish was excellent. The shrimp and grits were flavorful, but they could have been served hotter. I noticed that the amount of onion and pepper in the shrimp was a bit lower than expected. The server was fantastic. However, the noise level in the room was quite high, so it may not be the best choice for someone looking for a quiet meal. Still, it's worth the price of admission just to see the robot food server!

We love Blue Bamboo! Chef Dennis created an atmosphere that is welcoming and warm. The food is incredible and can be delivered by the friendly robot, Booey to your table! Holly, Tina and the whole Blue Bamboo team make you welcome and pay attention to every detail.

I took a friend here for lunch. The lunch menu looked really good, but we were treating ourselves, so we ordered from the fancy side of the lunch menu. I ordered the red curry shrimp and grits. The spice level was perfect for me and I pretty much cleaned my plate. Service was excellent and the dinning room was very lovely. I 'd like to go back with my hubby. I think it would be a great plate for a romantic date night. Also, I ordered the mandarin cake to go, and it did not disappoint. Check the prices online before you go so you don 't get sticker shock. I think the prices are worth the experience, but there are other places you can get Asian fusion for less. They definitely won 't have red curry shrimp and grits though.
