This charming little restaurant specializes in Eastern European-style grilled meats and offers an impressive variety. Though it only has three tables, the food alone makes the visit worthwhile. The grilled meats and sausages can be enjoyed as meals or sandwiches, accompanied by generous portions of open-style pita bread. As a newcomer, I followed the manager's recommendation and ordered the Balkan Combination plate, which he graciously explained, detailing all the different meats and condiments included. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food justifies every cent. This place is a meat-lover's paradise, though definitely not suited for vegans! I will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant is outstanding, featuring very friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices. The pljeskavica, ćevapi, and sudzuka were all fantastic, as were the pita, kajmak, and ajvar. They also boast an impressive selection of beers. I highly recommend the Balkan Café; you won't be disappointed!

As a Croatian, I truly appreciate genuine Croatian cuisine, and this place did not disappoint. The meat was authentic and delicious, complemented by peppers and onions. I also enjoyed a lovely Croatian wine. It's a family-owned restaurant that serves fresh, traditional dishes, and the owners treated us like family. Thank you!

Phenomenal restaurant! This little place has the best Balkan cuisine this side of the Atlantic. The combination of great food and reasonable prices ensures that we will definitely return. BTW, I highly recommend the combination platter.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Balkans, so I am familiar with the cuisine of this region. Balkan Café is one of the very best! This simple, no-frills authentic restaurant is located in a nondescript shopping center. It is run by a super nice Bosnian family. If you are in Jacksonville make sure you give this place a try! I ordered the Ćevapi in a Lepinje with Ajvar and Kaymak. I also tried the Sudzuka. All of it was fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned, and delicious! I also tried a Korça beer from Albania. It was crisp and cold! I highly recommend Balkan Café!
