Applebee's Grill - Jacksonville

Decided to take a trip on the store lane to eat here Thursday evening. the place was busy, but our server, chance, was attentive and friendly. typical American farewell without spectacular dishes. the woman got Fiesta chicken and I ordered the oriental salat w/fried chicken. had to dig around to find one of the beats along with minimal dressing. we still enjoyed our date night and would return! parking: many parking spaces with easy access in and out

Outside are a little twitty, but inside it has nice cabins, nice dining, bar. lunch was good with shrimp bowl just delicious. the service was fast and at the top. decent food variety. felt that they have become better with alcohol-free drinks options. appetizer platter was pretty good. costly I felt his bit on the higher side to lunch.

We came to hostess was great, but we sat right next to a manager who took online training and 4 barkeepers server saw us and nobody came in a 7 minute time frame. we didn't ask anyone, and the manager who takes lessons did not even recognize that we went. we asked about tvs on Sunday when we came in and they said no one switched on them. what? we left and went next business:

Do not order them from them. for delivery they were not with dressing for an salat, our drink, ketchup or mayonnaise on request. the lady on the phone had hired could have been less well maintained. I was told to deal with the grub hub that could not do anything about it. after driving a whole day, staying in a hotel cannot even order a meal with everything, it is ridiculous.

This is the location at JTB and 95. Slow service, but food was good enough. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a quesadilla burger, all with fries. Everything came out prepared properly and the fries were nice and hot. The waitress was friendly and seemed to be trying hard. Most annoying part was the booth behind us. I don 't know if it was a manager or not, but she sat in that booth the whole time and it was a constant stream of her chatting with her coworkers. I learned about how she wants a cheap Christmas tree off Amazon for her cat, how she once made a $300 tip off a single male guest, heard the servers and busboys talking about their weekend escapades, swearing and adult content language included. We had to wait 10 minutes to get seated, when there weren 't more than 6 or 7 occupied tables. Guess they were too busy chatting to have any hustle. 3 burgers and fries, with 2 drinks, a water and tip was almost $60. For that kind of money, I 'll eat nachos at the movies and have better entertainment!
