West Texas Bbq Company - Jackson

I picked up takeout yesterday for my husband to celebrate Father's Day. The service was friendly, and the food was served quickly. We had brisket and pork, both of which were incredibly tender and flavorful. The bold sauce was wonderfully tangy, while the mild sauce paired perfectly with the brisket. We also loved the baked beans. Overall, everything was excellent!

Absolutely fantastic each and every time! It’s definitely worth the 40-minute drive from Lansing just to have lunch here. Thanks again, everyone!

I ordered two full slabs of baby back ribs, one pound of brisket, and for dessert, two brownies with German chocolate cake icing. I also grabbed a small jar of their 'Hot' BBQ sauce, which is definitely my favorite. They have a sauce labeled 'B,' but I wasn’t a fan as it was too watery and vinegary for my taste. The 'Mild' sauce is my second favorite. I left the restaurant spending just under $100, which I thought was very reasonable. Each slab comes with a roll and butter, but sides are extra. As I mentioned, I ordered a small greens and a 16 oz serving of mac and cheese. Next time, I'll skip the greens and double up on the mac and cheese!

Very tasty Texas style BBQ, I always get pick 2 platter, Brisket and Polish sausage. You can never go wrong with anything here though. The platters can be either 6 oz. or 10 oz. portions of meat. The BBQ sauce, BigUn's is my favorite for meals. Great service, call ahead and pick up or come on in and wait.

Always my go to stop for BBQ while in Jackson, Mi . My go to is the Brisket plate, pulled pork or the 1/2 slab of ribs. Only complaint is not open 7 days a week and rarely answer the phone for pick up orders .
