Shiro Cafe Ethiopian Cuisine - Jackson

My Husband and I stopped here on the way back home to Texas from Florida. We are vegan, and wanted to try something new. Shiro Cafe did not disappoint we loved absolutely everything! We’re just sad we won’t be able to have it again unless we come back to the area.

Stopped in for lunch here the other day and was really glad I did. In this hidden Jackson gem, you get amazing flavors, spices and seasoning all on one plate. You have a variety of choices you can choose from and the staff is friendly and helpful in helping you decide. I got the beef over rice with the cabbage and chick peas. Everything was cooked wonderfully and definitely made a happy plate at the end. If you’re in this part of town and want some great food, this is worth the trip.

Solid home-cooked food. Excellent vegetarian options and injera. Stopped on our way through town. Wish we had a similar place at home.

First introduction to Ethiopian food, and so delicious. The shiro is amazing.
