Los Tres Amigos West Jackson

Stopped by for a late dinner with friends. We sat out on the patio, which was so nice! I wish I could remember our server's name; she was friendly and very efficient. The food was fine standard American Mexican food. I liked the Queso dip; the guacamole had very little flavor. I was with a group that has different dietary restrictions and we all found something to eat and enjoy, which was great. Also there is an extensive drink menu and my margarita was delicious!

The chips and salsa were very tasty. I had the Birria tacos with a side of rice and beans and also extra guacamole To be honest, the tacos were a little bit on the greasy side. I think I would like to try something different next time I come by

To start off with, the place is very clean, the food is super delicious, and the lunch specials are incredibly inexpensive I thought, and they surprised the three of us at the Table, who are celebrating their birthdays, with a song and a hat and ice cream. Quesabirria tacos served with limes and red and green sauce. Presentation was on point. The wooden plank was a nice touch.

The restaurant was clean, although there was a utensil wrapper left on my table. I was seated quickly and the food arrived surprisingly fast. The food was typical of what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant in Michigan, but the sauce on the enchiladas reminded me of Chef Boyardee ravioli. The waitress, Kim, was very friendly and kept my drink filled, which I always appreciate. I would return to the restaurant, but would try a different dish next time.
