Glorietta Trattoria - Jackson

Made a reservation for 5 pm at 12 pm…I am in from out of town. They called me at 345 to let me know they screwed up and there is a party that wanted to come in so they needed to cancel my reservation. I explained that I was already in town from the Tetons and drove an hour. They offered a wine glass for the next time I am in town!

Swanky looking place inside. Loud, but that is due to the popularity of the place, the packed bar, and the lack of sound absorbing materials. Our server was attentive and professional. My companions enjoyed their steak entrees and meatball and eggplant appetizers. Drinks were very good. My fresh pasta was def not home made and was lacking in flavor. Portions were small esp the pasta. $540 for 4 people. Overall decent, but waaay overpriced by at least 50%.

Our waitress was pretentious and condescending. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, but she wouldn't take our appetizer order until we ordered our meal. She said it was easier for her. We weren't served bread. The steak was mediocre taste/quality and small in size. The pasta was listed as having a spicy andouille, but was not spicy and had no protein in it. High priced, less than average dining experience.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Glorietta. Beautiful meal, intimate but comfortable ambiance. Both the food and service exceeded our already high expectations after receiving the recommendation from many friends. Julien, Tyler and the rest of the team took great care of us.
