Mamas Empanadas - Jackson Heights

I frequent this restaurant but was extremely annoyed with my last visit. We ordered about 8 empanadas. I wanted them deep fried not baked. The options are either deep fried or baked when you order. When I got got home to Bayside which is 20 minutes away I realized they had not deep fried the items but instead baked them. I was more disappointed because I love the empanadas here so much, and it's about an hour ride going back and forth.

Empanadas are ?the only disappointment was the pink sauce too watery couldn’t really taste the ketchup n mayo other then that they valid.

This location is closed they had a fire under construction it seems! Don’t go to another empanada place on the next block. You will NOT like it!

Drove 30 minutes here to get food and tried calling 5 times before driving and got no answer when I got there they were closed n doing construction but online it said they were open. It should b posted somewhere or somewhere in a voicemail that they are not open and for how long.

Great Local Empanadas Restaurant. Always fresh. A must shop when in the area.
