I try the soup in other restaurants but always come back to this one. The bouillon is richer, the portion is more generous, the pieces of tortilla in the soup are crispy and it is served with chunks of avocado, sour cream, and cheese in little plates so that it is left to you to add whatever you want whenever you want it in the soup. Yummmmmmy Besides, it is served all day upon request. On my first day this year, I couldn't wait and had it at 10 a.m. !
We absolutely loved our yummy breakfasts at Los Bigotes. We received friendly service with a big smile from Cecile every day. We especially enjoyed the fresh coffee, tasty orange juice, perfect eggs and a side order of shrimp … yum, yum, yum! This fabulous restaurant is in the perfect location with reasonable prices that are worth every peso. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ixtapa. Even if you have AI, just take a break and go here for the best breakfast you can find in Ixtapa. Thanks, Cecile, for all the wonderful mornings. We ate here more than any other place on our 21 day stay in town. It was just wonderful. We definitely will be back!
We Stayed at the Emporia on a European plan so ate breakfast out most days. One the first morning we crossed the street and saw a big crowd at Chili Beans so tried it. We were not impressed. The next day we discovered Los Bigotes ( Martin's ). The breakfasts there were great. cooked perfectly every morning. The servers are also very, very nice people. It is definitely worth the short walk off the main street for breakfast here.
Off the main street and worth finding. Very friendly staff, some of who speak English. Great service. Recommend shrimp omelette and the steak w/cheese tacos
We read the menu and ordered. The Tortilla soup was excellent. It was 55 peros. My dish had the eggs and bacon but was missing the other described on menu. (65 peros). Orange juice was 25 peros for a small glass.
