Contribuiți la feedbackAlthough a bit pricey, the atmosphere at this restaurant is very pleasant. The service is top-notch and the place itself is very nice. We dined in for dinner and spent around €20–30 per person. I would give the service a rating of 5 and the atmosphere a 4.
I recently enjoyed a breakfast meal at this restaurant and was impressed with the food quality, which I would rate a 5 out of 5. The service was good, earning a 4 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant, receiving a rating of 4 out of 5.
We spent New Year's Eve at The Poet, enjoying a 7-course menu of sophisticated cuisine in an elegant atmosphere with a warm welcome. However, we were disappointed by an organizational issue in the service that resulted in a 1.5-hour wait between the granita and the main course without an adequate explanation. The waiter did offer us a complimentary bottle of wine as compensation. Despite this setback, we had a pleasant evening, but it was unfortunate for such an incident to occur in a restaurant of this caliber, especially with a menu priced at 125 euros per person.
We went to that restaurant for the change of the year, my wife and myself along with two good friends. The New Year's Eve fixed menu was replete with fish and seafood, and as I do not partake I asked whether they could replace at least one of the dishes with meat or salad. They said they could not. Fair enough, it was a last moment's request. Afterwards we were submitted to the slowest service ever. Although few tables were occupied, it took them 4 hours to hand out 5 dishes, with a generally grumpy mood. After the year changed, the music suddenly stopped, the mood dropped even more and in a funerary ambience we took off. Salt to the wound: the only dish I could eat, a deer medallions' dish of sorts, was inedible. The meat was bone-dry and harder than a saddle. Ah well, thank God for the bread on the table. To top it off, my wife, who ate the shellfish and the fish dishes, suffered from food poisoning and spent the night in agony. How's that for a memorable New Year's Eve dinner?
While passing through the Renaissance hotel we reserved a table in this charming restaurant. We liked and recommend this restaurant.
