Bol Et Baguette - Ixelles

Sweet! My first review! In addition, a restaurant that was not yet mentioned on Yelp! Come on, I'm going... After an attempt at a crowded sushi bar near there, my friend and I fell, to our surprise, on the restaurant thai-viet Bol Baguette, of which none of us have heard yet spoken so we decided to discover this small discreet restaurant. At the entrance, a wave of aromas is felt and frankly opens the appetite! The decor is sober, simple but wanted so no need to plant little Buddha and bamboo in the whole room. A mix of colors that reminds us of Southeast Asia, in addition to allevious odors. And a little note clind in reference to its name, bowls of baguettes on all tables! The manager welcomed us with a big smile and presented the menus without too late. Attentive throughout the service, non-invasive by serving our dishes and no need to remind him of our requests. The menu is divided into two parts. A Thai menu and a Viet menu. What I find very practical because most Thai-viet restaurants mix their dishes and you don't always see the difference. A very varied menu, really for all tastes and levels of spice! We find the great classics of each kitchen and small variants. Our entries arrived very quickly and the wait for our dishes was really not long, even the time to get impatient elsewhere. In the meantime, krupuks to nibble, the little boy of the manager who cared very wisely with cards on the table next and who made us charming with his little smile to melt the heart of anyone. Once the dishes arrived, it was a pure delight! My coconut beef was served in a bowl in terracotta heated continuously by a candle below (which would like to eat coconut milk cooled?! . The beef was tender and the sauce was perfectly spicy. The vegetables that bathed in there added a little cruncher in all this hunch. A small portion of rice that seemed little to me but which, in the end, was well enough once associated with the sauce. At the end of our meal, we were able to say that we ate very well: The most beautiful discoveries are by chance and the Bol Baguette is part of it. A top and fast service.
