Still being renovated (i hope) The staff were clueless, The food and drink was NOT desi tea. The tea was cold, The cold drinks were like 3 sips a glass. Very annoyed as it absolutely was not what it specified on the website. The sandwiches had butter on bits and then really thinly sliced 2 pieces of cucumber and thats it. Absolutely a disgrace. Also did not take the groupon vouchers as thats why we had gone to check it out. I spent £120 worth of my money on something that could of been a meal deal at tesco.
At first when i heard about this place as an Indian afternoon tea place i was in two minds but after going there and trying the food i have to say, I am very impressed. the service was great, always checking if we needed more. We had an extra person and they had no issue with accommodating us with an additional seat. I love the fact it is apart of the farm as we decided to shop from the farm shop after. Will come again.
Slightly lack lustre attempt at afternoon tea. The only desi thing on the menu was the samosas (which were extremely tasty!! and the gulab jaman. Quite a retro feel, located on a farm with a radio playing Indian songs in the background. Small, quaint but too overpriced for the experience/menu. Would be a lot better with more authentic Indian finger food on the menu and more refined decor/bathrooms. Needs some work to justify the cost!!
Great. very courtesy and professional staff. very good for children on autism spectrum, as we had a nice meal outside under the sun umbrellas with beautiful weather. will definitely get back down. kudos to all involved.
