Vegan Community Kitchen - Istanbul

The donator was incredible, it is the most satisfying food I ever had. I have to come back to İstanbul to eat at this place! dolma was also amazing. everything was so fresh and tasteful, the owner said that she gets all her ingredients just a few blocks down. they were so friendly and welcoming, this is my favorite restaurant in İstanbul by far. I wish they offered a different dessert than brownie, but this is my only criticism. both the eating and the service are levels everywhere and the neighbourhood where this restaurant is located is fantastic. updated by previous review on 2022-11-21

Great opportunity for lunch in the ball area. as we were here the only options either falafel or kebab plate and a kind of cake for dessert). we shared a falafel plate and a piece of cake, between two people was the total 220 tl. the food was great, but the cake that should be a brownie disappointed us a little, as it was really more of an ordinary chocolate cake instead of brownie. the place itself is tiny, cute and primitive, with only a few tables outside and a few inside,) run by a sweet local woman. beautiful to support a small local business!

This family café in balat makes the best donor/capab/shawarma whatever they want to call it. it is a home of seasoned setian served with fresh chopped tomato and one of the top foods I have eaten anywhere on the earth. I only use turkish airlines for miles so that I can complete my route through to spend one night and get a meal here. unbeatable quality and taste. her sister has a place in north carolina of the same name, but this place has catched! Mom made the stuffed wineries when I was there and they were also best in the class. The lady who runs the place is so kind and we really enjoyed talking to her. She makes all the food from scratch and it’s quite tasty. She also does a lot of work for the animals in the community and we were happy to support the cause.

Everyone should try this restaurant, vegans and non-vegans alike! Amazing vegan Doner with the most amazing sauces and vegetables. A full meal with tea and delicious brownies and flatbread! Oya is so sweet and we stayed over 3 hours just talking with her! A sweet soul and she shows the true power of food leading to community! A truly memorable experience and will be sure to come back anytime I’m close to Istanbul in the future!
