Contribuiți la feedbackPrices are a bit high here but for the ambience (quiet, low-key vibe with good tunes), it's worth it, I suppose. The location is lovely (if you walk all the down to Galata tower your options are pretty limited anyway, unless you feel like drinking on the stairs which may or may not end with a police raid) so that is a bonus. They were cool about making kind of particular orders for my foreign friends so I feel like overall this is a good place to take people especially if you have a couple of yabanci with you.
Galata Ritim close to the Galata Tower is a chilled place to sit, it has a good artistic environment, the waiters are relly nice and caring (but make sure they really understand what you are asking!! their english is not the best), also the food is quick. The crispy potatoe peals are not crispy but still very nice and the wall is full of artistic photographs so you will have something to watch while sitting. Prices are adopted to the touristy area around galata tower, but OK.
A must-visit spot on your trip to Istanbul, whether uphill in the early morning or downhill at sunset from Taksim Square.
The Galata Tower restaurant is the perfect choice for those seeking a romantic dinner in the heart of Istanbul. The menu is diverse and the view is stunning. We recommend trying the chef's specialty menu, which is based on typical Turkish-Ottoman dishes. Taste the delicious meatballs stuffed with grated cheese or the elegant Ottoman Shish Kebap, a Turkish specialty. If you make it a point to try this place, be sure to book in advance as it is very busy. Bon Appetit!
I would suggest visiting the cafeteria on the top floor of the tower instead of the restaurant. The cafeteria offers access to a viewpoint with reasonable prices for coffee. However, the dinner menu, although it includes a show, is overpriced at 60€. The food and show cater solely to Western tourists, with no Turkish influence except for the restaurant staff.
