Toro Latin Gastro - Istanbul

Very good. Nothing to complain about Toro Latin. It was my boyfriends birthday and they was very kind.

We visited this fine establishment on our first night in Istanbul . I regret that I do not recall the name of our waiter but his service was absolutely amazing , especially to say that he had only worked for the restaurant for 1 week! Upon realising that we were going to be drinking wine with our meal the waiter immediately called the sommelier who came to our table and introduced himself . The sommelier took the time to listen to us about what we like in wine , gave us some options and then gave us an in-depth explanation as to both how and why the certain wines would compliment our meal. I ordered the rack of lamb and my wife ordered the rib eye steak. The rack of lamb was nothing short of excellent and accompanied with a beautiful home made chimichurri sauce. My wife’s ribeye was somewhat over cooked which was a little disappointing but it did not dampen our evening . To sum things up, the service was amazing The setting is amazing My food was amazing, my wife on this occasion can only give a 5/10 where as I can go for a 9/10. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul We will certainly visit again the next time that we are in Istanbul in around 2 weeks.

After we realized that we wanted to drink wine with our meal, the waiter immediately called the sommelier who came to our table and introduced himself. the sommelier took the time to listen to us about what we like in wein, gave us some options and then gave us a detailed explanation how and why the particular wee would complicate our meal. I ordered the lame frame and my wife ordered the chestnut steak. the lamb frame was nothing less than excellent and accompanied by a beautiful house made chimichurri soße. the ribeye of my wife was a little over boiled, which was somewhat disappointing, but it did not dampen our evening. to summarize the things, the service was amazing the setting is amazing my food was amazing, my wife at this occasion can give only a 5/10 where, as I can go for a 9/10. I would recommend this place to anyone who isanbul we will visit the next time that we are in istanbul in about 2 weeks again.

The restaurant treated us with cake for our birthday celebration ! Nice atmosphere, excellent view! The service was good with the exception of the fact that the starters and the main courses arrived within a few minutes of a difference. Overall, a very nice evening outing!
