Maranda Döner - Istanbul

Maranda serves döner made over an open wood fire. The döner I received was a bit dry, but there aren't many places in Eminönü where you can properly sit down and enjoy döner. I think this place fills that gap, and the prices are reasonable. The upper floor has all glass windows, making it a pleasant place to sit, while the lower level isn't comfortable for dining. There are plenty of options like kebabs and soups, but I recommend trying the döner if you can get it right when it's freshly sliced during a busy time. Compared to the awful döner at Eminönü Kasap Osman, which has been popular for years, this place is a hundred times better.

The döner here is incredibly delicious, hot, and of high quality. I've tried döner at many places in Istanbul, but I've never encountered this flavor before. To those who say the prices are high, I think they should consider that they can’t expect quality when they only want to pay 10 liras for meat döner. It's worth your while to ask the butcher about the price of meat. Please don’t feed your children questionable food options. Let's not lose places that offer high-quality and tasty meat like this one!

I discovered a lovely döner restaurant called Maranda Döner in Eminönü. It has been open for about 4-5 years, and it is located alongside Doğubank, right across from the Sirkeci train station. The döner is cooked over a wood fire. The owners are from Trabzon. We enjoyed a delicious mixed lamb döner. The portion is 100 grams for 24 TL. We ended our meal with a treat from the owner, Mr. Gökhan, who served us Hamsiköy rice pudding and my favorite hazelnut baklava.

This place is ideal for excellent Turkish cuisine in sirkeci area. the dishes were so delicious and delicious! we ordered chicken tavuk, meat döner, kababab and Turkish kibbeh, which I liked most! the witness was very friendly, although not all English speaking and herr osman was very helpful! the prices were fair. I will definitely go back to istanbul!

Ordered a mixed grill, doner wraps, doner pita and maranda special for a family of 7, eating came very fast and was very hot and fresh! very recommended and would definitely visit again. a special thanks to nouman (our Pakistani waiter who made us home and also from the same city as we was! and necat for their excellent service and hospitality. this place is definitely worth a full 5 stars!
