Contribuiți la feedback(ENG) After many years, we finally visited Karakoy Lokantası, a restaurant we had on our list for a long time. The new terrace was a pleasant surprise and it welcomed us warmly. We selected our appetizers and focused on the food, not allowing the beautiful view to distract us. The Tarama, Octopus Salad, Marinated Sea Bass, Stuffed Squash Blossoms, and Eggplant with Spicy Yogurt were all amazing. The Tarama and Stuffed Squash Blossoms were the best I have ever had in Istanbul. Following the staff's suggestion, we tried the Fried Beet and Zucchini, which impressed us once again with its non-greasy frying technique. The only downside was the serving of Paçanga Pastry, which we did not order. The price was 150₺ per person.
I returned everything except for the liver dish, but they were all prepared well. We ordered a variety of cold appetizers, salad, and 3 hot entrees for our group of 35 people, costing a total of 455 TL.
The menu at this restaurant is well balanced and Dana, the chef, is very skilled. Be sure to try the pumpkin fries - they are a must! The lakerda and liver skewers are outstanding. The only issue is that there was a slight delay in service, but this won't affect my rating. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly.
Fiyat performans oranı harika, mezeleri çok güzel. Ambians mükemmel. Servis hızlı ve garsonlar kibar, her istediğinizde yanınızdalar. Tavsiye ederim.
