I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive staff greeting me at the door, as well as the delicious food and friendly service. The grilled chicken plate was fantastic, especially the crispy yet tender chicken wings. The bread was a bit dry for my taste, but I was more focused on the flavorful rice and meat entrees. The prices were very reasonable, so I would definitely consider returning in the future.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I started with a flavorful tomato salad followed by a kababab with yogurt, both dishes had beautiful aromas. I ended my meal with tea and the baklava was the highlight; it was freshly made in-house and still warm, with incredibly fresh pistachios. The restaurant was busy at 8:30pm but the service was still top-notch. Overall, a definite must-visit restaurant.

The restaurant sits on a corner where you can see the hectic traffic, but it is lovely to observe. eating is tremendous, no matter what they order and they offer free Turkish tee at the end of their meal. great staff that makes wonderful recommendations if they don't know what to eat. highly recommended!

I recommend Tarihi Çeşme Restaurant as a must-try place for anyone visiting Istanbul. We found this restaurant on our very first night and kept coming back for dinner at the end of each day when we were there. The food is great with traditional Turkish meals and lots of options. I'd recommend trying the Çeşme special kebab and the Iskender kebab which were my favourites. The location is also very good since it's close to the hotel quarter and the main attractions on this side of the city, and the place is very clean with great atmosphere. Both the owner and the staff are very friendly and offer very good service overall dining experience.
