My expectations were quickly blown away by the sheer excellence in ALL things presented to our group. The menu flowed like a trip through Italians gastronomic progression and historical classics. Our friend had allergies and dietary restrictions, some of her options were her favorite dishes, specifically made for her. The wine list was the best and most affordable we have seen in our trip in Italy. We purchased magnum of 1990 Barolo Montrefino. The paired wines, the dancing in my mouth that the Arneis and the mackerel with green apple was a feeling that will remain with me forever. My favorite dish was the risotto with chanterelle and sweet breads. The service was perfect, as a family restaurant you feel continuously cared for. I will always come back here and think of this lunch.
A thoroughly fabulous wine and dine experience at this renowned Italian restaurant in Isola D’Asti. An unusual, but very nice opportunity to discuss our menu options directly with the chef, Walter Ferretto. Frankly, everything on the menu is world class, but our favourites were the Agnolotti pasta, the Risotto with spicy cockerel, and the Crunchy Pig.
Excellent restaurant both from the point of view of the reception and service and of the excellent food we have degustato. Plates that excite like the Millefoglie and an extraordinary will finance...but all the dinner was high-level. Very kind and attentive staff who realized that it was celebrating a birthday and surprisingly served us a candle cake. We will definitely come back.! !
