La Brace - Isnello

Fabulous restaurant and pizzeria, amazing food, fantastic welcome and last night I had the best steak I have ever eaten which (like much of the menu) was locally sourced. There is a tangible pride in the amazing produce of the area which makes eating here; be it for pizza, the amazing selection of antipasti or the primo and secondi something I look forward to throughout the year and that expectation is always matched and often exceeded!

Opened 30min later than said. The wait was worth the while. Easygoing and relaxed service and food “par excellence”. The anti-pasti fantastic and a must have, many different sorts followed by a amazing dish of pasta.

The long and very curvy road from Céfalu to Isnello was very quickly forgotten when we arrived at La Brace.Very sympa brothers in law, one chef, one waiter did everything to please us. We started with very nice Panzanella di Mele, ricotta di capra with lemon, maiale with balsamic and rucola, warm ricottacake with porcini, some very tender veal in crust from the oven with patatoes and crema di radicchio, spinach on the side. Delicious Cersuaolo di Vittoria in the glass, what more do you want? Very nice place to go!

Seen on 29/08/2021. “Come to the island, eat on the grill and be nice!” could be a motto for this place in a panoramic position, quiet place, fresh mountain air and good food. Try the appetizers and the first. (a note I do so on the absence of a menu card with course prices). overall it liked. to come back!
