Ratsstube im schonen Turm - Ismaning

We did a reservation about two months in advance for a touristgroup spending the weekend in erding.The reservation for 10 persons took about 3 weeks of mailing to the restaurant and waiting for answers but finally the reservation worked and the restaurant was informed what kind of group we are and how many persons.Arriving there we received for 10 persons about 5 menues. The waiters sensitiveness to his customers was poor. Instead of informing us about his or the houses specialities he was complaining about the behavior of several guests, cleared the table while others of the group where still eating and so on.The food was excellent, amazing good german cuisine with all you need. Price is also reasonable for the quality. Anyway for us it was a poor expirience, as we ate dinner for about 45mins and had to leave as the athmosphere was totally destroyed.

If you want or need a change from the local Bavarian cuisine, you must go to this restaurant where you will climb some stairs to find nice tables in several small alcoves. The food, as the chefs's origin, has some Asian roots incorporated very nicely into traditional and original dishes. We went twice in the week, so no need to say that we lived it !!

Any time we are back in Erding we must visit this restaurant, is the best restaurant in Erding and surrounding areas. If you're in Erding you must visit this place.

We did not manage to make a reservation, but we were lucky and greeted very warnly and we were kindly asked to wait a couple of minutes and voilá, we had a table in no time.We selected the recommendation of the maitre d'hotel for the redwine and a salad and duck and lamm as main courses. The salads were truly fresh and made of local ingredients and just delicious! Main courses were heavenly, the portions looked as delicious as they tasted and all ingredients made a fantastic harmony. The service was really warm but not pushy, very delicate and the athmosphere was cosy and even romantic. We really enjoyed the service and food, here we indeed want to return asap!!! Many thanks for the great experience! Value for money we must say, loved it!
