The Real Greek Marleybone - Islington

The food here is very good. Authentic and actual Greek food. If you are in Marylebone or Baker Street, try this place. It’s a lovely place to try. Decorations are nice and food is authentic Greek.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but our evening was ruined by the staff asking for payment while we were still eating and abruptly turning on bright lights. Not a romantic spot for a date!

We had made a reservation and arrived at 8:30 pm. The food was good, although we had to send back some cold potatoes. The staff came at 9:50 pm and asked us to pay our bill as they were closing. They did this to all the tables, even those who had just received their meals. When we asked why they were closing so early on a Friday night, the waitress said they had been working since early in the day. The couple at the next table mentioned they were asked to pay while they were still eating, noting that this isn't McDonald's. Then, all the lights were turned on brightly, causing many customers to start laughing. Although I usually enjoy this restaurant chain, I won't be returning here anytime soon.

I had a fantastic lunch with a friend at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Anastasia provided excellent service, explaining the menu and helping us choose from the wine list. We can't wait to come back again soon.
