Benito's Hat Farringdon - Islington

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for several years and have always been impressed by the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the friendliness of the staff. My go-to dish is the Chicken Burrito. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The staff have been unfriendly and the food has lacked flavor with smaller portion sizes. During my last visit, there was hardly any chicken in my burrito and when I asked for more, I was charged an extra £2.50 for a small scoop. I used to love this place and used to visit weekly, but I will not be returning. I recommend Tortilla for those looking for a delicious and affordable burrito, as they consistently provide good value for money and I have never had a bad order from them.

I visited for lunch and I wasnt that impressed, my burrito was just a soggy mess ended up eating it with a fork and knife. The service was ok it was lunchtime so I suppose they have to point out as many as they can as fast as they can.

Very affordable tacos on their 1 pound Tuesday Taco specials which are great value and delicious. Friendly atmosphere, helpful service, colorful, relaxed, and uncommonly good Mexican food in London.

We came upon this place looking for a late meal upon arrival in town. The food was fresh and flavorful and the staff was friendly. The music was up loud enough that it was difficult to converse, but I imagine they might have turned it down a bit if we had asked.

I frequently go to Benito's Hat for lunch and sometimes for dinner after work. The Burritos and cocktails are always top-notch, and the staff are very helpful even when they are extremely busy or short-staffed. One drawback is that the Tacos can sometimes be underwhelming, as they may lack ingredients when you order 3. I give them the benefit of the doubt that it's probably just to fit them into the container, rather than a deliberate policy. This hasn't deterred me from returning, as ordering 2 or 4 tacos solves the issue.
