One of my favourite pubs on the island, lovely locally sourced foods and ales. Recently had a meal after completing a sponsored walk, I'm partially sighted and staff were extremely accommodating and polite to me. Ignore the negative reviews from the occasional grumpy arrogant second home owning grockles , this is a brilliant pub and well worth the price. Just make sure you book during peek season! The food and accommodations at this restaurant were excellent. It was a great place to stop while exploring the Isle of Wight over two days. I would rate the rooms, service, and location all as 5 out of 5.
