Paramount Cafe Shanklin - Isle of Wight

I visited this restaurant for breakfast on my final day in Shanklin and I wish I had discovered it earlier. I ordered the big boy breakfast which was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the food was served promptly. I would definitely recommend this place.

On the last day of our vacation, we didn't feel like cooking breakfast or cleaning up, so we decided to leave early and explore Shanklin for a place to eat. The Paramount Cafe was the first restaurant we stumbled upon, and after a quick glance at the menu, we were sold. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, and the drinks were also great (especially the tea served in a mug, which was a nice change from drinking out of cups all week). The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent.

Came in at 1.35 just before they shut at 2. Had an amazing homemade cottage pie which was very hot and tasty and a big portion. Ended up having desert which was equally good. They waited until we finished after 2 which was really good of them. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely be coming back.

We went as a family of 8 for dinner. All of us enjoyed our dinner, especially the home made cottage pie. It made a lovely change from the normal dinner with chips. All our food arrived nice and hot with good portions. Staff were really friendly and service was fast and efficient. We will definitely return when next in the area.
