Oh, no! We went for brunch this morning (12/26) and found the restaurant with a sign that said PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Website has not been updated.

The food was terrible. They claim to be closing in a week so they must tell you something.

I wish I could review the food, but we actually never made it there. I had friends visiting and staying in a condo right next door, so I called to make a reservation well in advance. I called three times. Voice mail three times, and nobody ever called me back. I also sent two e-mails to the restaurant, but nobody ever replied. Obviously, we went to dine somewhere else. As I later found out, Allen Hess, the owner of the restaurant, had several failed restaurant ventures, and was let go as the Chef of the Canoe House at the Mauna Lani too. Needless to say, I am not surprised.

Service was non existent. We got a coffee (which was not good), drank 1/2 of it. Still no service after 15 minutes. Left some cash on the table and left Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10
