Island Lake Cafe

This is a local diner with a Betty Boop theme. They have puppets and photos everywhere. This diner has a typical menu with many pages to choose from. We ordered burgers and omelets for lunch and it quickly came out. Food and service were great. The restaurant was about 25% full.

I absolutely adore Island Lake Café! Not only do they serve the best food, but they also have the most impressive collection of Betty Boop memorabilia I've ever encountered. My best friend is a huge Betty Boop fan, and every time we visit, she always finds something new to add to her collection, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I've never had a bad meal there, and the service is consistently top-notch. The staff is always friendly and greets us with warm smiles, making us feel truly welcome. I can't recommend this charming little restaurant enough!

Like many establishments, they seem to be struggling with staffing issues. There was only one server who was working extremely hard, yet remained cheerful while taking our order—kudos to them for that! The food arrived promptly and was quite good. If you're a fan of Betty Boop, you'll love the abundance of decorations throughout the place.

I absolutely adore the Island Café because of the wide variety of delicious options on their menu. It’s always a challenge to decide what to eat! The food is outstanding and reasonably priced, and the waitstaff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoy dining there.

A wonderful neighborhood diner! I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, mashed potatoes, and gravy, and everything was delicious. My server, Melanie, provided fantastic service, too.
