Desi Accent - Islamabad

To our delight after a long time we found a desi food place that offered authentic Pakistani dishes with (thankfully) less oil and reasonably well flavoured portions. Most restaurants offer extremely oily, spicy or some times bland food so we requested the waiter for medium spicy food and that 's what we got. The seekh kebabs were great, palak paneer seemed fresh, tawa veal keema also didnt disappoint and they kept serving hot nans. The only thing that didnt taste fresh was their 'Sooji ka halva ' which we ordered later on. The mixed tea however was on point. The staff was vigilant and polite. Chai Khana next door definitely has a serious competition now. Keep up the good work Desi Accent!

Finally, one found authentic Pakistani taste in the islamabad as my hometown lahore. had desi nashta and genoss mouth irrigation lahori chanay, desi omelette, tawa qeema, karak chai and especially lahori style madani leti. very recommended for desi food lovers.
