Whenever Jeff and I arrive back from Texas the first thing we do is head to Unity. We dump our bags in the hallway; wipe the travel dirt from our faces and head to a place of friendly faces; delicious cocktails and superb food. Few places make me feel as at home; or miss home, more than Unity. From their succulent prawns to their delicate but flavorful authentic Durban curries, to their hamburger-perfection... this is our haven on the Berra.

Charlie, our host for the evening took us on a journey of beer discovery, after our meal was delayed. To make us feel at home after that kind of mix up on a busy Friday night speaks volumes of the people who make Unity such a welcoming venue.
