U-yee Sushi - Iselin

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem – a real diamond in the rough. Don’t be deceived by the appearance of the corner shopping strip mall sushi spot; this place offers high-quality, incredibly fresh sushi. I visited right at opening time between my doctor appointments, and I’m so glad I decided to grab lunch here. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, and I can’t emphasize enough just how delicious it was. This is genuinely a great sushi spot – be sure to stop in for a meal! I can't wait to return for a hibachi night with friends!

A Wonderful Experience! We visited a hibachi restaurant for the first time after hearing about it from several friends, and we received a warm welcome. The ambiance wasn’t great, rating it a 2 out of 5. However, the staff were incredibly friendly, quick, and responsive. We started with some hot tea, which was served promptly and was decent. Then, the talented chef entertained us with his knife skills and cooking techniques. He quickly grilled all the veggies and meat, and the fried rice was quite tasty. Overall, it was a valuable experience!

The food here is outstanding! Everything from the service to the dishes and the atmosphere is top-notch. The prices are reasonable for just about any budget. As for the food? Simply fantastic! Initially, I was planning to order an Udon (thick noodle) dish, but then I spotted Ramen soup on the menu and thought, "Why not try some authentic Ramen noodles for a change?" I'm so glad I did. The freshness of the Ramen noodles was immediately noticeable—the taste was just superior right from the start. The vegetables and meat in the soup looked like they belonged in a food magazine. Just take a look at the photo included with this review—aren't they beautiful? The broth was spicy and packed with rich Japanese flavors. They also offer a non-spicy version of this dish, which I will definitely be returning for soon. When it comes to authentic Japanese food in New Jersey, I can't think of a place that represents Japanese cuisine better than U-Yee Sushi.

Always a great time here! Start off with some delicious, fresh sushi rolls, and then get down with hibachi-style dinner. If you've done the whole hibachi show before it definitely gets old, but the experience is still awesome! Oh, and always get thegarlic noodles, infinitely better than fried rice.

Hibachi has no flavor chicken was still raw the noodles were hard. Kani salad had a weird flavor and has no crabmeat literally all cucumbers and half a stick of crab meat. We told the waitress and they still charged us for it and they said sorry but wecannot take it back. This place used to be good with awesome customer service and now it has gone down hill.
