Contribuiți la feedbackAbsolutely the best quality sushi I have had outside of japan. Non sushi was not as great but still pretty good. I had the beef sukiyaki udon. The fish was fresh and did not leave a fishy or saltwatery after taste in the mouth. It was niether cold norlukewarm and the sushi chef prepared the sushi with some wasabi underneath the fish just like in japan. Aoi definitely knowswhat theyre doing. Only con would be the price of the sushi.
Little gem of a Japanese restaurant tucked away inside the APA hotel all the dishes were beautifully presented and you wouldn’t expect such fresh and varying types of sashimi cuts in Woodbridge. The hot dishes were fantastic the katsu (porkchop) is crispy and thick yet tender, and the hamachi kama (grilled yellowtail jaw) came with two pieces and had lots of meat.
Was looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant when I found this place, it’s a nice quiet restaurant tucked away inside the APA hotel. Feels quite classy and great atmosphere, the waiters come often to check in with you. I got the eel don and it wasperfect strong and subtle flavors mixing together. Quite filling and a good balance of textures with the rice. I think it hadshredded tofu bits in the rice and it was a great addition. On the expensive side but you get the quality for what you pay for.10/10 would come again!
Really nice atmosphere tucked inside a hotel. Portions are small for the price but the fried oysters are amazing. Have come back for them multiple times and they’re a good deal at happy hour.
First experience having Omakase. The food was great when we went, but the service was slower than normal. There was only one sushi chef preparing the 7 course Omakase for what looked to be 13 different guests on a Friday night. We started at 6:30 butdidn't get finished until 9:30.
