It's a relatively intimate place, not necessarily by location (which is also great, overlooking the lake Varano), but by the implication of the staff in what they do and by their care to see everything done right and the customer satisfied. This attitude is actually the main reason I went for the 4star rating, rather than the 3star rating. In terms of what you get: generous antipasti with products grown on site (yet too much bread based stuff), primi, secondi, water and wine, all for 25 euros/person. The menu varies according to what fresh products are available, but we had seafood pasta (which didn't throw us away) and grilled carne (which was good, but also did not throw us away). The digestivo is extra. All in all we had a great time. It's not a bad choice, but don't expect wonders.
Very Good and flavored food. All the ingredients are homegrown and the surroundings are amazing.The hosts are very welcoming! It’s a great experience!
Located on the lake of varano, not easily reachable (pow indications), with a large garden and a beautiful olive tree of years; beautiful view of the lake, to enjoy before dark face. parking is available. it is recommended to book at least the day before since the kitchen is scheduled every day according to the guests planned and day fishing. paper equipment, pleasant background music, well spaced tables. the restaurant is open only for dinner and offers a menu of meat and one of fish at a fixed price and euro respectively); they explained that if you do not take all the courses you pay less. appetizers consist of vegetable preparations (including the local ‘barba dei frati’, very rare and similar to salicornia), fish, and types of bread or hot focaccia: all right. then you choose between two options first and second. excellent noodles with stuffed mussels, good grilled meat and carrot provided even if of modest size. ends with coffee and bitter. apart we tasted homemade mignon, not exciting. good local red wine. the service was friendly, friendly and fast. in the final account, however, despite not having taken all the course of the fixed menu, we paid more than the complete menu: a greater clarity on the costs of the owners would have been appropriate. Ultimately, it seemed cheap considering moderate portions, but the variety of appetizers, fresh fish and pleasant environment deserve.
Sometimes the content denies the package, well that's not the case. beautiful small farmhouse practically on the lake that gives beautiful suggestions between olive trees, lake and some rusty chicken at lunch. you dine out well spaced and there is a small room inside (it is recommended to book for the time). we have been times in several days. you breathe so much the familiarity and courtesy of people who manage it with care and dedication. the menu proposal is simple: many appetizers especially vegetables but also mussels, anchovies or shrimps (among meals we have seen some variation) and then to choice between the first (always different in days) and the second (meat or grilled fish). you can not even take everything (i.e. much) at an average price of € (antipasto at hand). Genuine food and homemade by mom as rightly emphasize the boys serving at the tables. we were fine and I feel like recommending it.
