Mamma Nína Pizza - Isafjoerdur

Despite all bad reviews, I am glad to say that we had an excellent experience in this institution! The Queen Pizza was ready in 10 minutes, perfectly cooked, and the best part of all.. it was delicious! Bonus, you get a lot of food for a big price. The staff was friendly and professional. If we are ever back in Ísafjörđur, we will definitely get back in. Thank you.

I love the pizza and the breadsticks. Had it twice during my short stay in town. Wide range of toppings available. Dates on Pizza-Yum!

I am surprised by bad reviews here. I only ate there on a day, because more “high” restaurant nearby was full of tourists and they were like “no place for you”. I liked this place right away because locals also came to eat there. I think people who wrote bad reviews say because they expect a fine pizza because of their price. Although it is expensive, this is expensive in the economy of our home country. We all know everything is more expensive than our home in Iceland. While the price is high, it is kind of food you get for the price. If you want something better, you pay twice the money. But I tried Mamma nina Pizza and it was good. One of my favorite pizzas I had in Greenland and Faroe Islands during my last two months. I'd recommend it.

Mama Nina’s was great! We stayed in Ísafjörður for 5 nights and ate there twice. Pizza’s were great and the staff was friendly. The portions were generous and the price was very reasonable (even as a tourist . If you’re craving a humble, family friendly atmosphere I would definitely give it a shot. You can never go wrong with Pizza! (To address any poor complaints or reviews- if you wanted fine dining just go eat at the hotel!
