Lighthouse - Irvington

The food was great, fresh seafood. Wish the dessert had been homemade instead of store bought. The floor could have been cleaner, but all in all, it was a great meal.

I had heard such wonderful things about the place, so We were very disappointed in our experience. I drink water and my water glass was never fill. So I didn't have anything to drink with my meal. I ordered the grilled seafood platter and it was awful and seasoned so hot it made me cry, plus no water to drink. We had to beg to get our ticket and get checked out. All our plates were very small.... we went home and had to eat again because we were hungry after.

I've been a couple of times. So many brag on this place. We had whole flounder. It was over cooked. Not a fan of dry fish.

We used to look forward to coming here whenever we were in town, but this time we were incredibly disappointed. So much so, I’m not sure if we will ever come back. The food was good, but the service was very poor. It took 25 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there, another 35 minutes to come back and take our order, another 30 minutes to get part of our food, and another 30 minutes to get the rest of the food. By the time we received the check and paid, it was well over two hours in total. No apologies, no acknowledgment of the errors on order/extended delays, which we were frustrated with especially when they didn’t bring someone’s meal until after the rest of us had finished. All in all, even the best food isn’t worth the poor service here.

Open later than other restaurants in town if your seeking seafood.
