Cowboy Chicken - Irving

Cowboy Chicken is a fantastic spot to find delicious and nutritious meals at an affordable price. The menu offers a variety of options, and the food is made fresh on the premises. I found my meal to be enjoyable, flavorful, and well-seasoned. They also have a selection of desserts available. The atmosphere is not too noisy, with outdoor seating available as well. It's a great place to unwind, enjoy a healthy meal, and relax.

We always enjoy coming to North Texas to dine at Cowboy Chicken. Their bowls, enchiladas, Russian series chicken, and sides are incredibly tasty! I usually order the three-piece dark chicken, which includes two legs and one thigh. It comes with two sides and a roll. The creamed spinach was delicious, but I was disappointed with the roasted broccoli this time. It was tough, dry, and overcooked. I ate everything on my tray except for the broccoli because it was inedible and unappetizing. Despite this, I would still recommend this restaurant. You can't go wrong with their chicken!

If the staff moved a bit faster and the children who worked the register did not chat with the chefs, I would give it 2 stars. It took 30 minutes for a buffalo sandwich and brisket and rotisserie chicken plate. And we were the only ones when we went to the restaurant. A couple came in 15 minutes after we did it and they first got their food. Buffalo chicken sandwich was SO SALTY. We won't be back. I hope they improve their service.

Had the brisket plate! It was excellent! Mexican street corn and twice baked potatoes were amazing!

I opted for the brisket combo with twice baked potatoes and Mexican street corn as my sides. The chicken was moist and flavorful, but the brisket didn't quite meet my expectations. It had a watery taste and lacked flavor, with some unpleasant bits of fat. However, the potatoes and corn were delicious and I would definitely order them again. I noticed that the restaurant wasn't very clean, as there were bags of trash in the hallway and the restroom was in need of attention and more toilet paper. The floors throughout the restaurant were dusty and needed a good sweep. Overall, I would return for the quick service and tasty chicken, but I would probably opt for takeout from this location.
