Wow Bento - Irvine

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time. The establishment was very clean, and the ingredients appeared to be fresh. The portions were smaller compared to other poke spots. While you can choose the spiciness level of the sauce, you don’t have the usual sauce options like ponzu or spicy mayo that you find at other poke places. Overall, the food was tasty and left a good first impression, but it doesn’t quite rank at the top of my list for poke spots.

This is a fantastic restaurant where you can't go wrong with any choice—everything is delicious! I've been coming here for five years, and the quality has always been outstanding. No matter what you pick, you’ll end up with a tasty bowl. While there aren't as many options as at other poke places, I actually see that as a positive. They also have a lovely small outdoor dining area!

It's a small restaurant, but the ingredients are fresh! It's a great spot to escape or just grab a bite to eat. The terrace is lovely when the weather is nice.

Absolutely the best Poke Bowl restaurant in the Irvine/Lake Forest area. All ingredients are fresh and very tasty. The menu is divided into steps to facilitate the order and people are really nice and accommodating. This place is super tiny with only a very limited dining area inside, but more seats and tables are arranged right outside the door. Very recommended to come here before the lunch break, as it is very popular and the line often forms the front door, but not disturbed, it goes quite fast!

What a fantastic hidden gem! A local from San Diego turned me on to Wow Bento. I still have no idea how he found this place. I absolutely love it though. Really fresh fish and quick to get you through the line too. It is not unusual for the line to be out to the parking lot, but you'll get though really quick. I've been here a few times now, each ordering the poke bowl. Every time I have not finished all my rice and still been full hours later.
