Sushi Taka - Irvine

Great experience! The food was not only delicious but also healthy. The service was fast, just what we were looking for. The prices were reasonable and my son really enjoyed being able to choose his roll thanks to the pictures provided.

The sushi available at the hospital cafeteria where I work is superior to the sushi at this restaurant. I would rate their food quality at 2 stars, but they earn an extra star for accommodating gluten-free diets and offering tamari sauce. My son, who has celiac disease, was able to enjoy their sushi without any issues. It's worth noting that their imitation crab is gluten-free, but they tend to use excessive amounts in their rolls. Overall, the restaurant is celiac-friendly and able to cater to dietary restrictions.

I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend's suggestion. I came for the sushi, but they also had ramen on the menu. I ordered sashimi and made some special requests that were accommodated with no issue. The fish was fresh and the service was attentive. I definitely plan to return in the future.

Don't get me wrong, rolls were delicious! But $19 was a bit steep. Wish I could afford it more often. Order thru Uber eats and got my order within 40? Minutes? Seemed pretty speedy. Got the laguna beach roll and Huntington Beach roll, both yummy. Ordered two sides of eel sauce for $1 more each. First place to give a generous portion. But shoot, $40 for two rolls, sure hope so lol. Five stars from me.
