Javier's Irvine Spectrum

It was our first time here and I was impressed! the food was delicious and high quality! the place was full and the ambiente was fabulous! beautifully decorated too. we're coming back!

What a great night my wife and I had. from the moment we were there, the dinge started right, they set us for our 830 watch reservation, but it was a high table. I'm not doing well. So I asked a low table. no problem. 10 minutes later we sat. the waiter was polite and fast. we had our drinks chips and salsa right away. the chips are killer. ordered appetizers. aguachile de reyes was bomb! and queso fundido was so good. ordered scallops for me and lobster and steak for woman. both were perfect dishes. well cooked and well seasoned. we shared trio de enchiladas del mar. crab and garnelen were great. lobster was okay, but it was worth it. we'll be back. Fantastic service, great eating and definitiw a romantic place for weeks hangout and date! average cost per person is approx. 50-$70, but they get a very good amount of food, great place for Mexican food.

Absolutely amazing! great service. our eating was so delicious amazing, presentation was a . our server ismael was phenomenal. busboys were very professional and accommodating. Hostess/Front podium could be more welcoming and friendly. I had to make them big before they greeted me, and on my way out I thanked them again and said look again, while the two young men sat there and talked about living.

The ambiance, the staff, the dishes and the drinks were all top notch. I can understand why Javier's is such a go to restaurant that you'd need a reservation for or suffer to wait the 1 hour or more wait as a walk in diner. The dishes were well plated and delightful to eat from beginning to end. The restaurant felt like a club, the music playing could make you dance in your seat and the staff were pleased to make sure your dining experience was comfortable. I could not have been more pleased and would definitely come again. Tl;dr this is an expensive dining experience that caters to the adult crowd and will definitely need a reservation otherwise you'd wait a long time. Worth it though.
